Busch Wildlife Engagement Session // rachel + ryan

I had so much fun with Rachel + Ryan at their engagement session in Busch Wildlife this past September! The weather was perfect and the sunset was simply AMAZING. The love these two have for each other is so beautiful to witness. They constantly were making each other smile & laugh and just overall being goofy, and fun loving people. But they also were not afraid to love on each other and be super sweet together. We seriously had such a blast! By the end of their session they already felt like old friends.

After their engagement session, they sat down and wrote me a review that almost brought me to tears. I’ve shared it below!

“I found Abby on Instagram and her photos stood out to me because they were exactly the style I was looking for – candid, cozy, earthy, and full of emotion. When I clicked on her page I saw that she likes succulents and being environmentally conscious (two things I’m also obsessed with), and that she seemed like such a genuine person even though I only saw her through social media.

Her personality is portrayed through her page perfectly though, because when Ryan and I met her she was just as professional, thoughtful, and friendly as I was expecting! We immediately felt comfortable talking to her and she was no rookie despite being a professional for only a year at that time. She was clearly serious about her business and passionate about bringing couples the images they’ve always dreamed of for their wedding day. We knew immediately that she would be our photographer.

A month or so later, we had our engagement session with Abby and it was a blast! She gave just the right amount of guidance to make sure the images were posed nicely, but I loved that she let us be ourselves while she walked around getting the best angles. Abby was laid back and fun and we felt comfortable to just be us. We fully trusted that Abby was capturing exactly how we felt without us having to do things that felt unnatural. We got our pictures back so fast which was such a wonderful surprise. Let me tell you, I am extremely picky about pictures and I was beyond pleased with Abby’s work.

I still can’t pick my favorites because they are all amazing! My Instagram is now full of these gorgeous photos because I can’t stop posting them 😍. My family also comments on them every time we get together and I am so so thankful we found Abby. I can’t wait for her to be a part of our wedding day and give us images that we’ll cherish forever.
