Ashley + Matthew had such a sweet intimate backyard wedding! They told me from DAY 1 that they wanted a simple wedding that was a celebration of their two families becoming one…and I truly think they nailed it!

Everything about their day had personal touches that made everyone’s hearts melt! I got a little teary eyed when they shared their First Look; it was such a beautiful moment and you could just tell how much they loved each other and how ready they were to finally be husband and wife. This was one of the first parts of the day and it started everything off on such a good note! From their emotional, honest vows they said to each other to their sweet vows they said to their children, it was such a special event to witness.

A small detail from their wedding that everyone, including myself, loved was that they had their bible next to their guest book where they encouraged everyone to highlight their favorite verse with a highlighter. Their faith is so important to them so this was such a unique idea to bring that faith into their wedding celebration. I know they will love seeing those highlighted verses for years to come!

Their wedding ended at 1818 Chophouse as everyone was eating dinner, talking, laughing, and enjoying the night! We even got the most beautiful sunset. I feel so grateful I was welcomed in on this amazing day. Ashley + Matthew, you guys are just the best – congratulations!!
