It was such a blast exploring the STL Citygarden for Alexa and Mike’s engagement photos! These two are seriously the sweetest! Today, I am so freaking stoked to share a peek into some of my favorite images from their engagement session.

To give some background, Alexa and Mike both moved from Toronto to St. Louis this past year for Mike’s new job working with the St. Louis Blues. While their wedding will take place in Toronto next year, they both wanted their engagement session to showcase their new life they are starting in St Louis!

For location, we decided to do the Citygarden since it has classic STL staples like the Arch and the Old Courthouse, but it also has plenty of trees & greenery. As you can see, it was such a fun backdrop for their photos!

During their session, I loved chatting with them about all things St. Louis and giving recommendations of new places & activities for them to try. Their current favorite place is Forest Park, which is my personal favorite place in St. Louis. So clearly they already have a lot of things figured out 😉.

Leaving their session, I felt so grateful that Alexa and Mike were drawn to my candid photos and natural style of posing and decided to reach out to book with me. It was truly such a blast hanging out with them and getting to know their lives! We ended their session by popping some champagne, which was the BEST way to top off the evening. 🥂 Alexa and Mike, I can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for you two! 💛
