St. Louis Backyard Wedding // rachel & ryan

Rachel and Ryan had a GORGEOUS St Louis backyard wedding, and I’m so pumped to share some of the images today here on the blog!

These two were supposed to get married back in May, but they had to postpone due to COVID-19. Throughout that process, they decided to change course and have an intimate wedding at Ryan’s parents house instead of a big wedding. In the end, I think that’s how it was meant to be the whole time.

Rachel and Ryan are simply SO in love and it showed all day long. Throughout the day, there were so many hugs, meaningful looks, and happy tears. After their first look, Ryan said to Rachel, “My cheeks already hurt from smiling so much.” 😭 In other words, could they be any cuter?!

In addition, another one of my favorite moments from the day were the toasts after dinner. Everyone did amazing; they were all so sweet with plenty of humor mixed in! Rachel’s sisters even did a Taylor Swift themed speech, by sprinkling in tons of quotes from her songs into their toast! Rachel is a huge Taylor Swift fan, so I love that they incorporated that personal element into their speech!

Overall, Rachel and Ryan had a beautiful day. The temperature was perfect at 80 degrees, the details were thought out & personalized, & the company was amazing. Truly, I am so grateful that I could capture their day & all the new memories! Congratulations, Rachel & Ryan! 🤍
