I absolutely adored my time with Emily & Mat and capturing their Klondike Park engagement photos! These two are seriously so kind & fun. We had so much fun just exploring the park together & chatting all about their lives, wedding plans, and their SUPER adorable pup (who will also be attending their wedding 😍) . Emily and Mat were so laid back and sweet to each other the entire time – which of course then makes my job so incredibly easy!

My favorite part of their session has to be at the end when we brought out the champagne! 🥂 In general, I don’t think props are absolutely necessary for engagement sessions, as I like to keep the images focused on their couple & their love, not outside objects. But popping champagne together can be SO fun & enhance the entire experience. I also think it has a really celebratory look to it, which obviously felt totally appropriate for this recently engaged couple! Not only was it super fun & we were dying laughing the whole time, but the pictures came out adorable too! ✨

This fall season has been such a blessing. I have been able to FINALLY meet so many of my 2021 couples in person for the first time for their engagement session – like Emily & Mat! It made me that much more stoked for their wedding in June; I know it is going to be such a special & sweet day!
