Today is a WONDERFUL day because I get to share some of the beautiful moments from Victoria and Derick’s wedding at Water’s Edge Banquet Center! 🤍

Goodness, I can’t believe these two are finally married! Their wedding has been on my 2020 lineup for quite some time now, and it somehow turned out even more perfect than we always imagined! The forecast called for rain on and off throughout the morning and early afternoon, but we still had no problem getting beautiful portraits outside! I think rain & adorable umbrellas in photos look SO romantic and actually enhance the photos overall. Not to mention, it is DEFINITELY good luck for the couple when it rains on a wedding day! 😉

One of my favorite moments from the day was right after Victoria and Derick’s first look. They decided to privately read their own vows to each other, and wow was it just so special to witness. It was incredibly emotional and unbelievably sweet. I wish more of my couples did this! Safe to say I was teary eyed myself. It was early in the day but I knew right then that the rest of the day was going to be amazing – and it was.

Victoria and Derick, I am SO happy for you both! CONGRATS on being MARRIED!
