I am so pumped to share a peek into Camille & Carter’s proposal at Bee Tree Park in St. Louis! There was so much thought & energy put into making this proposal special, and I feel honored I got to capture all the beauty and fun.

Camille is one of my very best friends, so when Carter reached out to me about photographing his proposal to her, I was obviously SO STOKED. 😊 He wanted it to be at Bee Tree Park because it’s where they got homecoming pictures done years ago (they are high school sweethearts ❤️ ). I loved this idea of course! His sweet family was helping him out to make his vision come to life and it all went so smoothly.

Camille was told that Carter’s family was getting family photos done at the park. So the plan was for them to meet his family there for the shoot! They also told her it wasn’t me photographing the family photos to make it even less suspicious. So when Carter and Camille arrived and she saw no family, the beautiful floral setup with the words “Marry Me” on a sign, and me hiding behind some bushes with a camera, she was totally surprised! 🎉 I most definitely shed a few tears capturing the big moment but wow can you blame me?! Everything was so stunning. Camille and I have talked about this day for years, so it was such an honor getting to capture it for them!

After the proposal, we walked around the park and took some sunset photos before heading over to his parents house where both their families were waiting to celebrate together! Everything fell into place that evening and it was perfect. Camille and Carter are some of the very best humans I know and I’m so happy for them. I can’t WAIT to capture their wedding day next year. Let the wedding planning fun begin!
