The Venue at Maison du Lac Wedding // amanda & colin

Amanda & Colin’s wedding at The Venue at Maison du Lac was a BLAST, and I’m so excited to share a peek into their day here on the blog!

A cold front came into St. Louis a few days before their wedding, which meant that their late May wedding day was a beautiful 68 degrees! It was overcast during the morning and most of the afternoon but never actually rained. In fact, the sun came out right in time for the ceremony and stayed out the rest of the evening! We got the most GORGEOUS sunset, resulting in some of my favorite golden hour photos to date. 😍

These two are both so down to earth and funny, so it makes sense that their wedding party was the same way! They were the ultimate hype crew and added so much fun to the whole day! I even knew a few of them from high school so it was special seeing everyone again.

Colin and Amanda are the real deal, and I’m so happy I got to capture their wedding. Enjoy this preview into the day!
