I’m thrilled to be sharing a look into Maggie and Mikaela’s wedding in Colorado Springs!
Things have always stayed interesting with these two since they booked me nearly two years ago!
From their crazy snowy (but gorgeous) engagement session in November 2019, to covid changing their original September 2020 wedding to an elopement in Tower Grove Park in June 2020, to them moving from St. Louis to Colorado Springs and having their postponed wedding celebration there in an Airbnb August 2021!
This postponed celebration was everything I imagined it would be and more! For Maggie and Mikaela’s portraits we went to a nearby park which had a gorgeous mountain view! Then their ceremony had the craziest weather conditions I’ve ever photographed. 😂 As soon as Maggie started walking down the aisle, the light sprinkle turned into insane wind and rain, but 3 minutes later it died down and the sun started to come out. By the end of the ceremony, it was a gorgeous sunny sky and even a rainbow?! So wild! In true Maggie and Mikaela spirit, they just laughed through it and it was amazing. The night ended with a KILLER dance floor and I’m living for these dance floor pictures (definitely worth the scroll to check them out).
I’ve had the honor of capturing their love in 2019, 2020, and 2021 and now I’m over here feeling depressed because I no longer have an excuse to photograph them again in the near future. 😢 Love these two and their incredibly huge hearts!! Let’s do it all again?!
