August in St. Louis can be warm and golden, and this beautiful wedding at Wild Carrot captured that late-summer glow perfectly. From the relaxed morning getting ready with their closest friends to a sunset ceremony and cozy brick-walled reception, the entire day felt joyful, colorful, and completely true to the couple.
The brides started their day getting ready together with their wedding party at a nearby Airbnb. One of my favorite things about their morning was how relaxed it felt. Everyone was together, music playing, people helping each other get ready, and lots of laughter throughout the space. It set the tone for a wedding day that felt intimate and celebratory right from the beginning.
Before heading to the venue, the couple shared their first look across the street at Tower Grove Park. The park is such a beautiful spot for portraits, especially in the summer when everything is lush and green. Seeing each other for the first time surrounded by trees and soft evening light was such a sweet moment, and it gave us time to capture some quiet portraits before the rest of the day began.
One of the most memorable details from this Wild Carrot wedding in St. Louis was the color palette. The bridesmaids wore a mix of pale yellow and chartreuse dresses, creating a fresh, unexpected look that felt perfect for August. Their bridesmen wore beige suits, which complemented the palette beautifully and kept everything feeling light and summery.
The florals were simple and elegant, focusing on single stem calla lilies arranged in understated bouquets and small vases. The minimal approach allowed the unique color palette and the venue’s character to really shine. Reception tables were dressed with crisp white linens and pale yellow napkins, adding another soft layer of color to the space.
After arriving at Wild Carrot, we captured the rest of the couple’s portraits before guests began to arrive. As the sun started to set, everyone gathered outside for the ceremony. The golden sunset light made the moment feel especially warm and romantic as the couple exchanged vows surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Cocktail hour flowed naturally between the indoor and outdoor spaces, giving guests the chance to mingle while enjoying the late summer evening. Once the reception began inside Wild Carrot’s iconic brick space, the atmosphere shifted into a cozy celebration filled with heartfelt toasts, dancing, and so much joy.
This Wild Carrot wedding in St. Louis was such a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful weddings are the ones that truly reflect the couple. From the vibrant color palette to the relaxed moments with their wedding party, every part of the day felt personal, intentional, and full of love. I hope you love getting to take a peek into this special day.
