I had such a blast capturing Elena & Lane’s engagement session in downtown Kansas City and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. These two are so fun and so sweet, it felt like meeting up with long time friends!

The weather forecast was showing partly cloudy skies all day, and then on the way to the session it was looking darker and darker. By the time the session started in downtown Kansas City, it unexpectedly started sprinkling a bit. Thankfully, Elena and Lane didn’t let the rain stop them from having fun! We just got sprinkled on a little bit and got creative with using covered areas outside.

For the second half of their session the rain was picking up, but we went to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art which thankfully had beautiful architecture outside that was covered. It didn’t stop raining until the very end of their session!

I love these two and know their wedding day is going to be such a gorgeous day celebrating their love. Enjoy this peek into their engagement session!
