Shannon and Jon’s Westwind Hills wedding in St. Louis was the definition of classic and sophisticated. From the black and white with pops of blue color design to the emotional moments throughout the weekend, their celebration felt timeless in the best way.

The weekend started with their rehearsal dinner at Forest Hills Country Club. Shannon wore a dress that was incredibly meaningful to her family. It originally belonged to her mother and grandmother and had been beautifully altered for the occasion. Seeing her wear something with that much history was such a special way to kick off the celebration.

The next day at Westwind Hills, everything came together so beautifully. The wedding design centered around a black and white color palette with soft blue hydrangeas and calla lilies woven throughout the florals.

Shannon chose not to do a first look with Jon, but she did share one with her dad. It was such a tender moment and there were definitely a few tears before the ceremony even began.

Their ceremony took place inside the Chandelier Room at Westwind Hills and it was incredibly emotional from start to finish. After they were officially married, guests headed outside for cocktail hour by the new stone fireplace, which was the perfect spot for people to relax and celebrate.

The reception moved back indoors under the grand chandelier, where a black and white dance floor anchored the space. It felt sophisticated and elegant, and once the dancing started the floor stayed full the entire night.

Shannon and Jon were surrounded by so much love all weekend long, and it was such a joy to document it. This gallery includes a mix of digital images and film photos sprinkled throughout, which always adds a little extra texture and nostalgia to a wedding day story.
