Klondike Park Engagement // jenna + jake

Jenna and Jake had the most beautiful sunny day for their Klondike Park engagement session! I had the hardest time picking out my favorites to share today!

We had to reschedule their session quite a few times for many different reasons. The first time we rescheduled was due to Jake getting in a horrible car accident due to an incredibly dangerous driver in another car (he has made an amazing recovery, thank goodness!). Then we had to reschedule due to the stay-at-home order in St. Louis due to COVID-19. Then we had to reschedule once more due to stormy weather! So it is safe to say that their engagement session has been a long time coming! 😉 I was SO pumped to finally meet these two in person!

I knew from simply emailing back and forth with Jenna that these two were such joyful, sweet, and kind people! I’m sure you can tell from the images from their session that it turned out to be absolutely true! 🙂 They were constantly making each other smile and laugh, and were so easy going the whole time! They made my job SO easy.

The cherry on top to their session? They brought their SUPER sweet pup, Maci! 😍 Not only was she cute as could be, but she handled photos like a pro! I told Jenna and Jake that I’ve never had such a well behaved dog at a session before! She was all about sniffing the park and exploring, but when we needed her in the photo, she sat down and behaved perfectly. (Also – shout to Jenna’s matron of honor Ally for tagging along and taking care of Maci when she wasn’t getting her photo taken. You’re the MVP!)

I truly had the best time at Jenna and Jake’s Klondike Park engagement session. Their wedding next May can’t come soon enough! 🎉
